A workflow I developed for applying dynamics to an OBJ in Houdini and then taking all the simulation data into Maya using chops. Then apply it to the same OBJ in Maya.

  • Wow! I think the most important part of the pipeline is the part where you can get anything to anything else? Place a camera from Nuke in houdini with geometry created in Maya and export it to Blender. Things like that.

  • That's right! No one tool can do it all. Python is a very good 'glue' language to pass info between programs.

  • you know it might have been nice to have VOICE to know wth was going on for those of us not familiar enough with either app ? ;)
