I hate this stupid stereotypical view of Glasgow. The truth is Glasgow has a huge mix up in families and communities, People of all faiths and none work together, drink together and live cheeck by jowell, it is not Belfast, yes there are the usual brain doners who follow all big clubs but Glasgow is not 'divided' Utter shit your talking Brian. What about the old firm join the english premier league but only on the condition they give 6 million pounds a year each to the spl to cover loss of old firm tv money. Plus they agree to play in a scottish premier cup with the top 6 spl sides and the old firm in groups of 4.

@Ally216Uvf Well said, mate. Actually, Rangers signed the first coloured player in professional Scottish football in Walter Tull who was killed in France in 1918. Celtic were founded by one bigoted priest, one murderer and one fenian.

Rangers, as you say, signed many Catholics before Mo Johnston (but don't tell the mhedia, or they'll write you off as a bigoted hun), whereas Celtic's first structure dictated that only Catholics of Irish descent were eligble to play for the side.
