Dec. 2009 marks the ten-year anniversary of author Joseph Heller's death, so we're visiting The Robert D. Farber University Archives and Special Collections Department at Brandeis to view a group of Heller gems. Heller donated the original manuscript for his first, and best-known, novel, Catch-22, to the university shortly after the book was published in 1961. At the time, "Catch-22" was groundbreaking for its novel take on war, and the book's tone continues to connect with readers today.
