Andy is the funniest man in America. Great humorists get their best material from life experiences and his crafting of this tale is a work of art. Fabulous!
(I hadn't thought of it for years, but the several references to the bag of shit reminded me of the classic line from Firesign Theater ".... But it's really great shit, Mrs. Kresge!")

I'm glad youre still here. I'm biting my nails as I go under the knife next month. HOWEVER. RE: the illeostomy propoganda magazine and lady. Those are aimed at those who will never "return to the land of the normal" to help them cope with a difficult surgical aftermath.
