CGI showing how the flu virus gets to work. This is one of many animated clips showing the effects of different viruses on the human body.

  • @422south is there any chance i could use this footage for my media A2 trailer? I'm doing a post apoaclyptic film and need video footage of a virus. This would be perfect, please let me know asap.

  • @baznian I know! Look at it! It's so fluffy and cute! How can we be killed by such a fluffy thing?

  • @R0ccojas0n lol yep that is all the video is it is just them raping the virus

  • We are strong, don't know if anybody here is aware of the film 'war of the worlds' but it features aliens attacking the earth and are impossible to kill. But then the entire alien army is wiped out by viruses and bacterium's we are immune too. This us obviously not real but it is real that we have strong immune systems and hopefully one day colds/flus are destroyed completely

  • to think our body is 'weak' is just being ignorant.. consider this, let say an influenza which is pandemic and has a 100% kill ratio. This virus has to invade a cell once to infect the host, while the body (host) has to deflect the virus 100% of the time to stay alive. Our body is a miracle work of evolution don't underestimate it.

So if you look at it, we are quite damn strong..

  • Its not the antibodies raping the virus, but the cell welcoming the virus in.

  • well thank you little things, thank you for giving me a great, sick day

  • @baznian high doses of vitamin D will kill flu viruses.

  • @baznian Well, consider millions are coming in and out of our bodies all of the time and we're constantly deflecting their "weak" attempts. It's all relative however, and when one has the right "combination" key to our bodily complex puzzle (randomly, of course) it could wipe out not just one, but all, of us.
