Since 1999, Blizzard fans have dreamed about what it would be like to play a StarCraft MMO. I was one of these fans and our dreams are slowly becoming a reality. Though StarCraft Universe will not be a full scale MMO, it takes the team oriented raiding style of World of Warcraft and combines it with many slasher action RPG elements of Diablo.

My question.... is there going to be a server for this or will it be requiring rerolls every time you want to play. and you have to wait for other players to join the game.

@ttosaj Battle.net will be the server. Character progression will be persistent, meaning, you will be able to save up to three characters; their level, items, abilities, guild, achievements, etc. will all be saved.

A lil' cruel but that's how this will roll I guess.

And another cool thing I noticed is that the unit portraits in the top left are moving, like in a badass conference or some shit.

3 FULL MODEL (unit portrait) is fully animated= ultra lag.

@masterprivate118 Actually anyone can play this. Some individuals with poor computers may need to play on lower graphics settings, but it works fine. Furthermore Blizzard has been making some pretty massive improvements to game performance over battle.net which has consequently resulted in improvements within SCU. We will come up with minimum and recommended computer specifications for SCU in the near future. :)
