I've seen several versions of this song here on youtube but this currently has to be my favorite one (aside from the Original). I think Lee Scratch produced this track, but I'm not sure.

this is indeed the Lee Scratch Perry version cut at Black Ark Studio in 1976

@HecG Yes Studio 1 version is the first one. This version is from the PartyTime album done for Island Music in 70's.

neither of them...this is the later Lee Perry mid 70's cut and the Sugar is later still.

One of the greatest rhythms Scratch recorded. A great step forward from the original with the steppers beat.

@HecG I'm studyin reggae music, I wouldnt say which one is original but rather which producer got in the hands of Heptones - Party time first and it was Studio 1 on 1968. The Heptones made a second version of it on 1976 with Lee Scratch Perry.
