john mccain's military/foreign policy/outlook is pissing me off. I'm beginning to believe that he's mentally unstable based on his experience in vietnam. let's get him tested for ptsd before making any decision.

something that bothers me is a reference to russia acting like a twentieth century country when in fact the united states is acting like a nineteenth century colonial power.

One thing no one mentions when it comes to dealing with Russia and Georgia: our military and economic might is not ready to deal with Russia, today, or in another cold war. We can threaten all we want, but we do not have any resources to defend Georgia as a Nato allie.

Show me a war and I will show you a budget that says "No way!" Unless you can show me the money - I have to conclude that Phil Gramm's policies have wiped us clean.

On the last clip you posted. Oil is what motivates Russia, that and influence and citing a precedent which will help them in other former controlled border states.

I was not concerned about oil as much as their action. I felt it was secondary and still do. I've always realised it as a motivation, but there is more to it. That's just icing on the cake.

Anyways too many points, I have counterpoints for all you've touched on, but not worth it to me.

The debate focused a lot on Iraq and Iran, as well as Afghanistan. Obama said he was a lead in working against "loose nukes" in Russia.

The connection is Obama's severe lack of "Vision" and just why he is naive as are so many others when it comes to nuclear proliferation. It's also the Big Picture in terms of influences 10 or 20 years from now in the region, which are vastly improved and why all this was neccesary.

There is no room in these comments to spell it out for you. nuff said.
