The shocking video shows unprovoked police officers kick in the student's apartment door and break the window screen without cause. The officers did not announce their entrance or that they had probable cause to enter the premises. They proceed to mace the residents without reason and then attempt to confiscate the camera phone that recorded the incident. Mace can be seen used at :57

  • THIS IS FUCKING INSANE!! WHY WOULD THEY DO THIS WITHOUT CAUSE?

  • @saxman2454 Sorry, I didn't realize a 30 year old law student was willing to go so far out of his way to write such a moronic post. Cops can also enter based on exigent circumstances or if they witness any illegal activity inside, but I didn't really feel like getting into the irrelevant specifics with somebody who obviously has no intension of posting constructively. Do us all a favor and keep your dimwitted comments to yourself. K, thanks!

  • I'm glad our RISING tuition is going to something useful like campus police protecting us... with pepper spray in the face and breaking windows!

  • they came in through the window with pepper spray and no warrant? thats pretty ridiculous. Did they pay for breaking the window?

  • lol, if you see nothing wrong with this video you should quit law school immediately.

  • crazy cops

  • They can also enter private property to affect an arrest of a person or persons for a crime which occurred in a public. Based on what case laws i have been reading, if they are in an active pursuit of a suspect for the purpose of affecting an arrest they can follow you to hell and back if they choose. You should do some more research or talk with a lawyer cause you sound like the uneducated one here. Or talk with a law student like me.

  • @saxman2454 CLEARLY, you are the uneducated one here. Police have no right to enter private property without a warrant or probable cause and in this case, they had neither.

  • What date? What time? Where? What police agency? What led up to this?

  • As a training officer at the academy I could barely watch this video without wanting to re-phase all of these guys.I dont know where campus security gets their training but this is horrible officer safety tactics! Good thing they deal with drunk college kids and not real criminals, because they would have been OWNED! please get a clue on how to do police work before you get yourself killed. Im glad I dont work with any of these yahoos.
