We all love Thanksgiving leftovers, but if we're not careful, those day-after meals can actually make us sick. Dr. David Winter shares a few Turkey Day tips in this video on how to properly store and package leftovers after the holidays and when it's time to clean them out of the fridge.

If you experience flu-like symptoms after eating leftovers, you may be suffering from a food-borne illness due to improper handling of the food during preparation, cooking or storage. Don't let food sit out all day, and be sure to store in in an appropriately-sized container. If you still have leftovers four or five days after Thanksgiving, it's time to let them go. Always better to be safe.
