Episode II the completely re edited version with new footage of Bangkok, The "Famous" Snake Show, The Floating Market and more...

I'd like to add that visiting other countries and experiencing new cultures is fascinating and rewarding. Remember to travel responsibly. Please refuse to attend shows that support animal abuse. While watching this episode please keep in mind that although no animals were seriously harmed in the footage we share, the living conditions of the animals at the snake show are unclean, overcrowded, and several snakes suffered permanent broken jaws as a result of some of the stunts performed.

Music for ExpeditionLIFE Episode 2 is performed by Greg Rawlins of Sons of Guns and used with complete permission as well as his blessing. Thanks also to iMovie

  • What amazing videos. I am watching the playlist. There are much more to watch! :) This is really interesting and beautiful!

  • oh my goodness! snakes galore!

  • This is phenomenal. Watching the first and second one here (thats all I have time for before work) is amazing. Watching these is amazing, the snake show, the boat shops, its truly amazing how different life is in other countries aside from the USA and I really think you two have done a superb job in showing us Thailand. I will watch the rest of them when I get home tonight!!

  • It's very rewarding, I love my students. After 2 years with them, they have become more like family, making our once a week meets more like sitting at the dinner table, we sit and talk about our lives, laugh, smile, and wish each other well. I love it!

  • I love watching these videos ! Thank you for sharing your life.

  • We are more than aware of all the hardships you speak of from direct experience, but there are many people who are not. I encourage you to shift your focus to getting the word out WITH us. This would be a great opportunity for you to add a video response outlining some of your travel experiences throughout the world. The beauty of self expression is you get to share your side of the story. Thank you for watching the few minutes we have edited together of a life long journey.

  • Ray, I'm not sure you know we have spent half our marriage in deveIoping countries traveling and volunteering. Our intention with this channel is to spread awareness, be the change we want to see in the world, and inspire humanity to extend compassion. The biggest lessons in my life have come from my direct experience in Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam and I intend on sharing the journey. Living there for 9 months is more than a visit and beyond a "tour".

  • I wasn't referring to the people who are poor by our standards but to the people who are poor by their standards and there are many. In Bangkok it means living in crowded filthy slums, up country it may mean selling a child into prostitution in a bad year so that there's enough food for the remaining family. Because the Thais you usually encounter as a tourist are generally so gracious to foreigners it's something that may take a few visits to notice. aloha :) ray
