Then I Kissed Her - The Beach Boys
"Then I Kissed Her" is a song written by Phil Spector, Ellie Greenwich and Jeff Barry as "Then He Kissed Me". This was a major hit for The Crystals. The song was re-worded to the title "Then I Kissed Her" when it was covered by the American rock band The Beach Boys. It was released on their 1965 album Summer Days (And Summer Nights!!) with Al Jardine on lead vocals and with production by Brian Wilson.

De stem van Phil Olsen past heel goed bij dit lied. Er zit een zekere treurnis in zodat het lijkt alsof hij "Then I kissed her" herbeleeft in zijn gedachten en met spijt moet vaststellen dat de vroegere relatie met zijn meisje ten einde is.
