Uhura/Spock/Chapel - Stop Me

I literally cannot stop vidding Star Trek. XD. Originally the Scar-Jo clips I had were going to be used for a Kirk/Rand video, one thing led to another and this was created. I had to swap from song to song, which were actually quite dark songs - but I thought this suited Christine's pov of more. This vid was created in a mad creative editing moment and I had alot of fun making it. :) I'm not fully happy with this vid, there's a glitch in it that annoys me every time I watch it. I would redo it, but my editor seems to be tired out.

I have changed my choice for Chapel, I liked the look of Scarlett (as I imagine the young Chapel with the long blonde hair tied back, the white outfit etc. The clips I had available portrayed her in a deeper emotional state when it came to connecting with Mr Spock, also with her personality alone). XD.

This vid shows the struggle with Christine's crush on Mr Spock as she notices that he is in love with Uhura. As things begin to clash between the two and Christine's feelings start to fade, however it is different this time around for Mr Spock...

*Note: When the singers says, "Emergency stop!" Uhura pushes the button in the turbolift scene right on cue! I didn't even notice that until I watched it back. Also, if you don't like my casting choice for the reboot version of Christine, there's nothing I can do. I don't want any, 'the woman you chose sucks!' Don't complain to me about it. ^.^

Yep, Chapel's in love with Spock (but he's with Uhura), her feelings begin to fade and Spock starts to notice her (in a romantic sense, rather than just a colleague).

,however people cant compare uhura/chapel because tos and the 09 film are different realitoes,but the reaon why i loved spock/uhura was because they relationship was like aragon and arwen(which is one of my all time fav couples)

I wouldn't say they are exactly the same, Uhura and Arwen are quite different characters. Spock and Uhura are a happy couple at the end of the 09 film, whether Arwen/Aragorn have to put their duties first to save the world before their relationship. Maybe for the ST sequel, there might be something to make the Spock/Uhura relationship more emotional, we'll just have to see. I would say the Aragorn and Arwen relationship is far more tragic.

I wonder if the second movie (if there is one) will include Spock and Christine's relationship? I read somewhere that the creator of Star Trek REALLY wanted Christine and Spock to get married; it'd be amazing to have it incorporated into the next film.

I feel this storyline is vague so they can end or resolve the relationship easier.

Sadly ,the Uhura in this two hour film had more time on camera. Than the Uhura of the three year of TOS.

Actually,in the st movies you saw a little thing happening between Uhura and Scotty. I liked that. I'm old school Trek. I would like to see Chapel and Spock together. I'm a romantic.

@EerieAlice yeah u make a point,what i meant was their attitiude both aragon/ arwen and spock/ uhura relationship is very private however not secret,its like they can understand eachother with only a few words(i dont really know how to explain it but am sure u get it)

its not like all the typical idotic love story were the couples are all over each other all the time and jumping of cliffs to express emotions

aragon/aren and spock/uhura are a no nonsense couple .
