    Is the rubber-frame came with the new glass?

    I mean the thin-rubber that you took off on 03:38...

    Thank you, this really helped!! my iphone is fixed! I watched this a few times then followed it step by step. I would add...

    With connector 3, on removal ensure you lift the white tab so it is pointing straight up. Before you remove the cable look at how much of the copper is visible so later you know you have inserted it back to the correct position. This was the only part I struggled with as it is tiny! Allow plenty of time and take your time!

    Many thanks++++

    Hey man, thanks for your videos, they been really helpful. However, as I was removing the old glass screen, I didn't notice at first but the Home button came out with the frame and the flex cable but the button itself still can be pressed, I assume I need to replace the button too before I re-ensemble everything?

    why did you have trouble lifting the connector clip? your new screen should have come with tools, yes its small but its not that small that you cant do it??? you just put your spudger or screw driver on the white bit and lift it up done??? its harder to put it back in than it is to undo it... i dont get how you could possibly have trouble undoing that clip... do you have trouble opening doors? if you have no arms or something then im sorry for making a joke but seriously its not that hard.

    thats because you did not follow the video, i repair all models of iphones and this is a very good step by step video of how to change your digitizer. if you cant follow the simple instructions, then buy a digitizer and LCD and frame as one complete unit. then all you have to do is undo the 2 screws at the bottom, undo the 3 connectors, then throw away the broken one, peel off the plastic from new unit, connect the 3 connectors, insert the screen and do up the 2 screws at the bottom. done.

    Best video ever!!! Thanks man. I didn't have to follow it exactly... I was actually transplanting glass from one busted iPhone and the LCD from another... but this worked great
