@sithous It's not fair to say any man would do that Sithous, Daniel isn't your every day guy. He doesn't want some casual fling, he's just making that clear. He's a relationship-kind of guy. I know it must shock some of you women that there are actually men out there who don't fuck anything that moves, but there are. Trust me. Daniel isn't being an asshole here, just a bit short-sighted in how he thinks Vala is acting. Then again, she doesn't have any other way to express herself until she cries

Really touching and good scene at the end. They were clearly right for each other. Unfortunately, the writers later in this episode made them forgot about their love when the time dilation field was reversed, making them go back to their (or more accurately Daniel's) irrational rejection of each other. This lowers the value of this otherwise beautiful clip to me.

God how I love this scene...and this show. I LOVED these two together. The first time I saw this scene I had a few choice words about Daniel as I was watching it. But by the end... #tears and all was forgiven! :D

......to her because she also knows that it's because of her previous actions that he's reacted the way he did. Vala needed to hear that honesty from him to know that he's given her a chance with him and that she cannot afford to waste it.

Whilst this is totally NOT Daniel, you cant blame him for his reaction. He knows she's played other men for fools and isn't the type to let that happen to him. Of course he doesn't realise that she means it this time, why would he? The realisation point comes when she's crying, because if memory serves me correctly, it's the first time she's cried in the series or in front of him. Thats when he knows she really does care for him and that he's in the wrong. He doesn't need to apologise...........
