Helpful tips on Rediscovering Yourself!
1. Meditation: Take time to quiet your mind. Go beyond the "thinking" mind into a deeper state of awareness. It's about creating an open space to hear the messages being sent to us. Meditation looks different to everyone. Find what fits for you and commit to a daily practice of meditation. It was once said, "Our mind is like a bowl of rice, if it is already full, there is not room left to receive".
2. Stay in the NOW: Be conscious of your surroundings. Stop the incessant mind chatter. Slow down and simply take note of the present. Feel the breeze on your face, the carpet between your toes, the sound of someone's voice, the smell of your garden. This keeps us out of the past which is over and out of the future which hasn't happened yet. True joy happens when living in the present moment!
3. Journal: This is about allowing your thoughts, feelings, insights, ideas and dreams to flow. It is about creating a safe space only for you without any outside infuences. It is fascinating to see what comes about while journaling!
4. Just say YES!: We so often in life pass up the greatest of opportunities. Saying YES to life not only changes your vibration, it's about allowing the sometimes "little things" to lead us to the "bigger things"! Be open to receiving and you will receive!
5. Replace negative self-talk with positive, loving words: Our emotions follow our thoughts. Whatever we think or say is automatically sent out into the universe and we will manifest just that. Replace the "I can't" statements with "I can..., I am willing to..., and I say yes to...". You will find your whole demeanor changing and inner light glowing brightly. It really works!
