Boeing design fault AGAIN? I've onyl heard of 1 design fault in the ADIRU systems of Airbus, whereas boeing and Mcdonnel Douglas have dozens of design errors.
Seriously... How could the Radar alt fail like that! It's horrible.

@Dinko007 It's 100% the right thing to do. Don't try multitasking when an emergency is in progress, and fire crews need to get about without a/c taxying over them.

There are very good reasons to hold all traffic in while there is an emergency in progress. The crews might need to move aorund the taxiways and runways freely to get to the emergency and evacuate people. What if they allow traffic and there is another incident while the first one is still in progress? If you were an injured passenger in a plane how would you like to see the rescuers run away to help another airplane? Just think about it and you'll see it makes sense.
