Here's my thoughts: 10. Two parter. Suited two different types of castles altogether. Good by themselves but not as a combo. 9. So-so for 3/4 of the way through, then pretty good. 8. Good, but could have been better. 7. GREAT tune, but too repetitive. 6. Not a bad song, but doesn't belong in an RPG. 5. Sounds like prehistoric sports fans. 4. Would've been good if it weren't 8-bit with the rap bit. 3. Bad beginning, meh middle. 2. Too repetitive. 1. No. Just no.

sadly, if you hadn't chosen final fantasy songs as your choices there wouldn't have been nearly as much butthurt. jaded fanboys/girls just can't accept the fact that not all music in their most favorite series EVAR is good.

i dont remember the original but i KNOW i never heared them in the ps2 one (which kept the same ost for the most part)

I wish someone would come up a term to distiquinsh video game RPGs for real (pencil and paper) RPGs. I grew up playing and running pencil and paper RPGs but I've never really cared for video games of any kind and more and more I keep running into instances where the terminology causes confusion becasue when I hear/see RPG I think pencil and paper but sometimes I will be talking to somone else with a diffrent background and they will think I mean video games. Just saying. :)
