Footage of a Demag AC500 (HUH: 144 m) and a Wolff 523SL tower crane (HUH: 126 m). The tower crane's hoist motor had just been replaced.

  • yeah looks orite.. i wa sin the factory at germany the other week and a seen the new ltm1200 9.1

  • The Liebherr LTM 1500's have to main boom options. They have a 4 section boom, or a 7 section main boom don't know the exact length. The AC 500 has a 5 section main boom. I think I have also seen a few LTM 1500's uprated to 650 US tons.

  • Question---with all the technology today ,why can't the crane operator sit at ground level and have a camera in the cab - just a thought, cheers
