We don't say that the temperature isn't rising. It does. And the human race is certainly contributing to it. But it's no big deal! 50 million years ago the average temperature on earth was 28C. Today it's 14C having risen 0.5C over the last 100 years. So what???

Only a few hundred years ago it was way higher than it is now. It will always change.

Fact: 100 million years ago antarctica was a tropical jungle.

Fact: 20,000 years ago Paris was under ice.

Fact: 1,000 years ago the average temperature on earth was way higher than it is today.

Fact: The volcanic activity level has decreased dramatically over the last 150 years, reducing the cooling effect and hence making the average temperature rise.

Speculation: CO2 emissions are causing more hurricanes, havoc and mayhem.

u clearly never paid attention in physics class, alex. u need to get your facts straight. volcanoes have a cooling effect because all the dust shields the earth from sunshine. asteroids are NOT pieces of ice, but pieces of iron-rich rock. they do burn when entering the atmosphere because of the friction, but it has nothing to do with methane gas, nor does it cause the temperature to rise. comets are pieces of ice. they are extremely rare and haven't hit earth for millions of years.

Personally, I'm not going to pretend that I know if global warming is really a fault of humanity or not, but it seems to me that we stand to gain much more by assuming it is real and cutting dependence on pollution.

Weather is not climate - you need to educate yourself. It snowed in Iraq last year, and China had the coldest winter for a long time.

So what. But wait...we have rebranded global warming now to "climate change" so that when the temps go down we can still jerk eachother off and dodge the soap with our hippie green friends. Boo hoo climate change .....it is getting colder .....the end is nigh! ...AGAIN

god damn it was hot i live in georgia and when winter ended it was 107 deggres everything is dying oh and by the way all that stuff about the co2 making plants grow better it dosent it kills them my family parks our car in the front lawn at night and where it drives once a day or so the grass is dead and the only thing growing there is some strange moss like plant that only grows where the exaust goes
