1961 Velosolex Solex S 2200 V1

Here's a nice original S 2200 V1 that I just brought back to life. This Solex has the rack for the spare fuel bottle, a Stewart Warner speedometer, and a rear wheel hub brake, as well as the original tools and air pump. Look for this beauty in Northern New Jersey and downstate New York.

Displacement of this Solex engine is 49 cc. Two springs hold the carborundum grit drive-roller down on the tire. Fuel mixture is anywhere from 40:1 to 50:1, depending on oil type/quality. Geometric compression is 8.2:1. True compression is 6.44:1.

what is its displacement? i assume it just rests on the tire with a roller for a drive, what do you pre mix the gas to? do you know what the compression is?
