Steve in the Uk sent in a question about playing and singing, so I decided to run through a bunch of tunes (Boil 'em Cabbage Down, Red River Valley, Rosewood Casket and Grandfather's Clock) and talk for a bit about how the playing and singing thing works on the banjo, guitar and even a little bit on the harmonica.

  • Thanks Patrick, I am glad to see this video.. I am having a tuff time matching the playing with the singing.. I can do both separately but have the hardest time putting them together. I am working right out of your book and it is nice to have the videos to match the songs.
