Fantastic vintage robot toy from Topper. King Ding is part of the Ding-A Ling line of toys. This guy works 100% perfectly. The robot takes 4 big "D" cell batteries in his chest. The robot is also quite big and heavy.

For the last few years I have been remembering toys that I played with when I was little. I remembered a large toy robot that was driven by a smaller robot. For the life of me, I could not remember what they were called. I searched old robot toy websites and ebay and asked older friends with no luck. I finally chanced across an old Ding a Ling Robot add in an old comic book. Then I found this video. MANY thankd for posting.
