The Forehand & Backhand Slice Approach Shots with 3 Cool Bonuses
- 60 minutes of no nonsense instruction from Brent Abel on how you can play your forehand & backhand approach shots with that low nasty skidding slice.
- BONUS #1 - The backhand slice chip & charge return of serve for both singles and doubles. Put instant pressure on your opponent's 2nd serves. Show them you're all about taking charge of the point right away and watch the double faults from them start to pile up.
- BONUS #2 - The backhand slice drop shot from just inside the baseline. Show your opponents your new backhand slice approach shot a few times, and then set up for another one, and then break your opponent's heart with an unreachable drop shot.
- BONUS #3 - The fundamental backhand slice from the baseline when you're pulled out wide. Take that tough out wide shot from your opponent and slide it safely deep cross court while you create time for yourself to recover back to the middle of the court.
BONUS Lessons Expiration Date - Sunday midnight Aug 15, 2010.

Hi Brent,
Really great tutorial, thanks very much.
Question,... is the backhand sliced approach hit in a manner where you add MORE slice than the usual backhand sliced cross court shot for example ?
Should we be exaggerating the slice on the sliced approach ?
thanks Brent ! and thanks for all the great tennis tips !

@FrostyTheBeerMan - Good to hear from you FTBM. More slice? Not really, it's much more of an effort of a specific footwork pattern that carries you through the shot as you impart underspin with an open faced racket (continental grip).
If you time the movement through contact just right, you naturally impart plenty of underspin that helps keep the ball low as your opponent tries to pas you. - Brent
