This ascent was in 1995, before it was decided to stop all climbing on the 3 sisters out of respect for the
Gundungarra & Darug people.

Darug elder Aunty Joan Cooper, is quoted as saying she does not mind people climbing on the first two sisters, but the third is sacred.

The climb featured in this video is the "Second Sister."

The shortest way down from the summit of the second sister is to climb down about 50 metres, then traverse off the back side until you meet the track.
