Whats most disgusting about Americas antics is that its always non-white poor people who are the targets. People trying to defend their families from getting raped or burned alive and all they have is a shitty AK 47, then America flies overehead. Another area cleared of communist terrorists. I agree with you, in Vietnam alone the war caused something like 3 million dead and displaced millions more because American policy was to destroy all villages and crops so the 'vietcongs' couldn't get supplies. They used more firepower there than in WW2, nature was ravaged, and effects are still felt today (agent orange, etc...).

And well all know what happened in Cambodia after that, and America's actions was one of the main causes of this bloodshed.

The Vietnam Conflict was a war to prevent vietnamese independence, and its methodology was one of rural extermination & depopulation. The vietnamese boy is too generous. America could just have easily allowed immigration, without invading and occupying the RSVN.

Stopping Communism is an excuse.

OSS as a condition, could have easily thwarted its growth in the North after the Japanese occupation was ended. Instead we chose to grow an enemy so we could draft and destroy our own youth.

No vietnamese boy, the Vietnam Conflict was not badly handled or bungled.

The outcome that was inflicted, was the one desired. ON THE RECORD the rural South Vietnamese civil population was directly targeted for extermination, to be conducted by unspotted artillery fire fired into villages and aerial bombardment of rural habitation.

"Casualties, North Vietnam = 15 million" hmm, this can't be right. Vietnam only claims 5.3 million Vietnamese killed, injured of missing during the Vietnam War.

Also, the report about the VC capturing the US Embassy for 7 hours during the Tet Offensive is untrue and is a media error. They only got as far as the garden and never penetrated the building itself.

But the US war crimes were horrific and true. Makes Saddam or Bin Laden look like amateurs

The vietnam war should have never taken place. This is all the United States fault. Who cares if the United States looked like a coward. Is it really worth human lives?

the north wouldn't have done that if the United States would have just let the south election take place. I'm pretty sure the North and the South coulda been unified peacefully. 80% of the South would have voted for Ho Chi Minh. The other 20% could have just left with the United States. My village got destroyed but luckily my family survived
