A story about the connection that grows between two people during the battle for city 17. Made in the same gritty guerrilla style as the original, it was made on a $250 budget, previously owned/donated software, time, and an HVX200 camera.

Escape From City 17 Part One was created as a long form spec commercial for Ian and David's commercial demo reel. They completed the second short in their spare time and want to thank everyone that enjoyed the first.

@MartinGro131 Yeah you are right, I had that scene in mind after I wrote it, also in Water Hazard, if you go back after getting the gun mounted, the chick who filled you up, will be killed by a fast headcrab. So yeah it happens quick, but not in movie time, and not to heroines. :)

That's a special moment at 3:55 With the surpression field down, two individuals feel emotion after all that time :) These guys are great for putting that little part in this, they really know what they're doing

We'll probably see part 3 of this before Gabe n the boys ever get the actual Half Life 3 game out!!! I doubt, at this point, it's gonna be called Half Life II part 3. Prob just gonna be Half Life 3.
