Jozef ZSAPKA is ranked the top of the Slovak performing art. His concert activities are wide-ranging, he performs in the duo and as a soloist not only at chamber concerts, but also with prominent orchestras. He is a recognised teacher, music director and organiser of the International Guitar Festival "Johann Kaspar Mertz" - in Bratislava well known event having a long tradition with participation of prominent guitar players from all over the world. He is regularly invited to the international juries of guitar competitions. He has led master classes in Spain, Portugal, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Liechtenstein, Austria, Thailand, Hungary, Turkey, etc. The manysided artist acts also as an editor (mainly of those compositions dedicated both to him and to the duo) and as a Professor at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Bratislava and Universidade de Aveiro in Portugal. http://www.zsapka.com
