Here's a quick video of me testing out my Lingenfelter LC-001 launch controller. The controller is set to reduce spark at 2,000 RPM currently, just for testing purposes. Should help with consistant launches at the track here once I get everything buttoned up and get the car tuned.

  • Luv all the spent tire stitting on the bottom of the 1/4 panels

  • @STARSHIPTROOP Haha! Thanks. I can legitimately say that that's not from my street tires... I'll lay some long marks down from a 40+ mph roll once in a while but it doesn't leave rubber like that. I try to clean it up once in a while but that was from warming up the drag radials in the burnout box at drag strip.

  • Is that a Bassani or a Magnaflow? Sounds nice.

  • @InfernusEternum Sorry, guess I never saw this. It's a custom fabricated 3" 304 stainless exhaust using Bassani components..... Bassani X-pipe, Race Mufflers, and tips. Thanks, I really love the way it sounds. Bassani's stuff sounds good on all applications I've heard it on.

  • @STARSHIPTROOP Also, take TC off when you are romping it. Anything above 420 rwhp or so over-powers the rear brakes when TC kicks in, so all you're doing is roasting your pads and rotors when it's trying to work. Just gotta learn to work the throttle gradually but quickly (with TC off), enough for very little wheel-spin but plenty of acceleration. :)

  • @STARSHIPTROOP I used to have 485 horsepower too, on a 3200 stall the first time I dyno tuned my old Maggie setup. Also had the drag bags. My first set of drag radials were Nitto's... and that's the problem. Nitto's aren't too sticky. When those wear down grab some 275/40 Mickey Thompson ET Streets. That's what I run and they hook. I was pulling 1.54x 60' times when I was later making just 508 rwhp when still on the Maggie.

  • @BitterTongues84 my 05 is only 485 hp & I have a hell of a time getting traction even with tc on h c I 60lb inj 2800 stall drag bags nitto 275 40 17

  • @GreenYZ18 Same here bro!

  • thats nasty as my freind clevland would say lol

  • I'm getting an 06 GTO for my first car, might as well be a pussy magnet.

  • @casimiro56 Yeah it's a small cam though. It's a custom blower cam from Ed Curtis. Really good driveability, sounds great, and makes good power
