Nice to know this stuff sticks in your head. Use to do competitive archery in school and 3 years later I still remember all this.

@jess1541 tabs are cheep, gloves are more expensive. shoot for an hour a day, 5 days/week for a year and you will probably get gloves or a release. been there, done that

@Snow101453 There's no problem with shooting a compound bow. I admire the skill it takes to shoot traditional longbows and recurves, but all bows are heavily based on technique.Compound or other, they all require extensive skill. Some people work better with Recurves than Compounds, and vice-versa. It's up to you.
Also, don't thumb whore. It doesn't make you any better of a person.
