The first people was greek, the first language was greek, the first religion was greek and then orthdox christianism.After the 1571 a.c. ,the italian luzinian ,who occupied cyprus,has sold the island to the turks.then turks sold cyprus to england, then turkey invated to cyprus,1974.since 1571,always turkey wanted to take cyprus

@geocat33 I`m 49 years old. By the way, it was not an invasion, we took what belong to us according to rights. In Cyprus, there are 3 guarantor countries and they are Turkiye, Greece and England. Don`t forget, Turkish army wouldn`t go to Cyprus in 1974, if you wouldn`t start with your ENOSIS madness. In 1974 Greece military took the power in Greece and you did not have a goverment and also no Democracy. How old are you?
