2002-03: Maple Leafs vs. Penguins (10-10-2002) (Game Intro)

This is the Intro for the Pittsburgh Penguins 2002-03 Season Opener against the Toronto Maple Leafs. This intro features not just the then-new uniforms that the Penguins would wear, but it also features some discussion about the new rules the NHL introduced that year as discussed by Mike and Edzo.

This is pretty much the only clip from the broadcast that I'm planning to show, mainly due to the fact that the Pens were shut out in disasterous fashion by a score of 6-0. I may however post some clips of this game regarding the new rules, But that's about it.

RIP John Barbero. for those that dont know he was the long time pens PA announcer. He passed away yeatserday after a 2 year battle with brain cancer, he was one of the best PA men in the league and will be sorely missed

Leafs won that game 6-0 and Ed Belfour became the 1st Maple Leafs goalie to get a shut-out in his very 1st game with them.
