How To Defeat Extremist Vegetarian Arguments

This is 1 of 3 parts.

This is a video which is response to an article on vegsource called, "How To Win An Argument With A Meat-Eater." However meat eater is an incorrect term, people who eat meat are omnivores. We are not carnivores as many dumb anti-meat eaters like to say. This is not against all vegetarians or vegans, just the holier-than-thou ones who think that they can save the Earth by giving up meat. Sorry it doesn't work like that. @squarekolt: The ADA's vegetarian branch that says all of this is also made up of vegans and vegetarians. Also there has been some disagreement in regards to this, one saying it was harder to get the nutrient as a veg, although possible. Watching what you eat will also likely lower cholesterol too. Oh and although vegs get fewer types of cancer, they get some more often like colorectal cancer.

@squarekolt: The problem is less demand for something like meat doesn't save any animals, In the short run they are still killed. Eventually it will even out but it just means that fewer will be born, You can't have a life if it doesn't exist. Methane is natural gas, we burn it anyway and most escapes unused from farms.

meat-eater isn't meant as rude-it's a distinguishing feature-it doesn't mean ONLY meat

Cows eat grass; others eat grain. It takes 16lbs of grain to produce 1lb of meat

Grain IS grown specially for animals

Crappy is better than none for the starving

Factory-farmed animals are overbred. Less demand means less produced so less methane

The product of burning methane is carbon dioxide

The American Dietic Association states vegetarians have lower cholesterol and OVERALL CANCER RATES among other things
