Nate Merritt (Paul Preiss), a Marine recruit crosses paths with a young gay single father Andy Forte (Bart Fletcher). Both men have troubles of their own. Nate has to deal with his philandering fiancee and wants to find his father, whom he has never met, while Andy is an irresponsible father and is constantly haunted by memories of his former lover, which has affected his love life. Together they journey to find Nate's father, but instead find each other and discover their true destinies.

I didn't understand this movie. The beginning seemed to jump around a bit. Was the whole movie Andy's flashback on their time together? I remember him talking about his marine lover near the beginning then it jumps to Nate walking in the desert.....
