I never understood why the platform never vaporizes when the gate is dialed. Also, they never finished Stargate Atlantis. The new drive McKay invented could easily get them home from Destiny but they never even talk about it or about the fact the whole, entire city is in the San Francisco bay, if that's even possible. I don't think it could fit in any lake, bay or river in the US. They need to start the SGA series again or at least start another series to carry it on.

@guitargodthor i think you are overestimating the size of atlantis. indeed i doubt it would fit in the san francisco bay, but lakes can be quite massive, as can rivers and bays. that being said, it wouldnt have landed in any body of water without a resulting wave generated by its touch down. THAT would have been noticed in San francisco. furthermore i agree 1000% that SGA should re-start, as well as SGU

Hail Dorthy. The Wicked Witch is Dead. I never liked charchters that guy played anyway, but neither do I like Rush. I only rooted for Rush as I liked Perry and Ginn.
