This may sound non Tigerish, but I wonder if its Possible to drop a 4.8 litre Range Rover V8 into a TR8 to replace the whimpy 3 something litre? Maybe even supercharge it. TR8s are still fairly affordable at $12K. A porsche 928 tranny/rear end would make it all work since its all in one package like TR8. But NOTHING beats a Tiger....

Like a cobra but with wipers, a radio, a top, windows, door locks and a price tag under a million. or $3500 in 66' dollars. Better yet, there are no replicas to dilute the real thing!
