  • OMG u mma fans are crazy mma fighters are not invincible this for self defense, besides a street fight is totally different than mma whit rules and regulations

  • my man this could work against a knife attack bottle, club, wild hook which is very common in bars clubs, and inmates. I am a correctional officer and i see wild hook punches all the time. You are not likely to fight a MMA fighter on the street or even in prison expand your horizon think outside the box. no disrespect intended.

  • got fighting skills? Go ahead and do it on the streets.Smash the hell out of your opponent then you'll go to jail or you could simply use this technique then run away without causing serious harm to what ever jackass comes to you.

  • would it be dangerous if i tried this on a friend without aikido experience?

  • such an advanced technique! it gave me a thrill!

  • @trevorplaysguitar Okay your a wrestler, that has nothing to do in Aikido combat, this Technique was demonstraded fine, use this on one of your friends and I hope you saw that he was striking in the solar plexis area, yea after that there isn't going to be much resistance sir.and please I warn you to not try it hard, you may try one hit there but at your one choice of risk. so be VERRY CAUTIOUS and train with control and care. *bow*

  • You guys dont think this works ask the Navy, I know seals who used this move and saved thier lives, you guys say its not realistic? look at that haymaker "wide punch" common on street turf and punk agressors, you do this fast and put it to your ability you can seriously kill someone, You hold on to that head and they drop to your knee or fly over whatever, all you add in is a snap to the head, resist or not I know you all know what it feels to get hit in the solar plexis, yeah! youll be gasping.

  • Look, techniques are for practicing to achieve a form of movement. If you think about doing a technique in real life, you will most likely fail. After much practice of various techniques and you find yourself in a confrontation, bodies and apendages will be flailing about. Somewhere in there, the pieces fall into place and a technique can effectively be applied and a perfect Nodo Nage just happens.

  • I understand the need for little resistance due to instruction, however, some of these need to be presented with resistance. Just going through the motions doesn't translate well into using the move for purpose, with a determined offender. I know this for a fact, I'm captain of my wrestling team. If, as a partner, you don't give resistance in practice, your teammate won't succeed in competition

  • Extremely unrealistic in a sparring situation (not to mention real life self-defense) but a very cool demonstration technique. And very well presented.

  • I agree,Genki Sudo got knifed,Tito Ortiz got Sucker punched out on the street.By the way I do like this from Sosa's book,I teach it as Kubi otoshi in my school, can be a nasty neck lock too if you crunch the jaw with your shoulder and turn the head then drop(turn anyones head away from center if you want them to be weak).

  • @ShakaZuluJSD mma fighters r not supermans
