HANDS FOR HAITI Benefit at SUNY SOUTHAMPTON - 2010

Dayna Troisi was one of my YAWP (Young Adult Writers) last summer. It is because of her that this wonderful benefit was conceived where our students, amid the grief and turmoil of learning that state budget cuts were closing down their campus--a campus dedicated to sustainable studies, no less--were able to bring the best of themselves to a cause other than their own. No that is truly amazing--and they were, truly amazing! Not only are these students, scientists, environmentalists and wonderful writers, they can SING too!
