finally, to the claim that Palestinians want to "re-take" the land. THIS LAND HAS NEVER BEEN PALESTINE!!!!! the biblical palestine never reached this far to the west so prior to 1948 the land was part of trans-jordan. this peice of land (israel) cannot be "re-claimed" by the Palestinians because they never held claim to it in the first place!

as to the issue of hate there is actually very little of that on a person to person basis (as far as i can see) however it seems that those who are incharge don't notice this and so the fighting continues, mostly out of habit than serious political conflict.

the israeli-Palestinian argument is very complex, however a few facts need to be cleared. i have lived for two years in both settelments and Palestinian encampments. firstly the images that you are seeing are part of Palestinian propoganda against israel and if you look for it, you will find equally damning propoganda made by israel against the Palestinians.
