Gaza's Reality
Movie clip from award-winning documentary film 'Occupation 101.' For more info or to purchase the DVD please visit: www.occupation101.com.

A thought-provoking and powerful documentary film on the current and historical root causes of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Unlike any other film ever produced on the conflict -- 'Occupation 101' presents a comprehensive analysis of the facts and hidden truths surrounding the never ending controversy and dispels many of its long-perceived myths and misconceptions.
The film also details life under Israeli military rule, the role of the United States in the conflict, and the major obstacles that stand in the way of a lasting and viable peace. The roots of the conflict are explained through first-hand on-the-ground experiences from leading Middle East scholars, peace activists, journalists, religious leaders and humanitarian workers whose voices have too often been suppressed in American media outlets.
The film covers a wide range of topics -- which include -- the first wave of Jewish immigration from Europe in the 1880's, the 1920 tensions, the 1948 war, the 1967 war, the first Intifada of 1987, the Oslo Peace Process, Settlement expansion, the role of the United States Government, the second Intifada of 2000, the separation barrier and the Israeli withdrawal from Gaza, as well as many heart wrenching testimonials from victims of this tragedy.

how they could survive under israeli war terrorism?! i think this is the worst think i've ever seen in my life.

Fuck israel and Fuck all jews terrorist of shit!

  • Yeah, I KNOW YOU CAN'T UNDERSTAND. I'm explaining things and you disregard most of it. If you were oppressed you would hate the oppressor. Get it? Palestinians don't care if they're Jews, Buddhists, whatever. The majority want their homes back. They want education. They want their aid of which Israel is preventing them from getting.

  • @magicalmilton then native americans got the right to crush houses with bulldozers to build their old settlements and claim america is again their land? with that consciousness the only thing you´ll get is enemys and hate. who are you scared of? of some flipflop wearing teenagers with ak´s in their hands patroulling the alleys of the shitholes your government created?! if you are scared of that now imagine how big their fear is to an enemy with radio controlled rockets.

  • it clearly shows tht u r an ignorant and seems toooo u r illiterate and uneduacated not only tht u have no heart no pity no feelings it proves also u dnt love anything nor any1 not even ur mom or family seems lyk u dnt even hav one and am sure i am rite

  • magicalmilton youre an idiot

  • finally, to the claim that Palestinians want to "re-take" the land. THIS LAND HAS NEVER BEEN PALESTINE!!!!! the biblical palestine never reached this far to the west so prior to 1948 the land was part of trans-jordan. this peice of land (israel) cannot be "re-claimed" by the Palestinians because they never held claim to it in the first place!

  • as to the issue of hate there is actually very little of that on a person to person basis (as far as i can see) however it seems that those who are incharge don't notice this and so the fighting continues, mostly out of habit than serious political conflict.

  • such images do not help to solve the conflict. you guys all seem to be hooked on whom to blame when actually both sides have committed atrocities. playing the blame game is counter productive to finding peice within the region.

  • the israeli-Palestinian argument is very complex, however a few facts need to be cleared. i have lived for two years in both settelments and Palestinian encampments. firstly the images that you are seeing are part of Palestinian propoganda against israel and if you look for it, you will find equally damning propoganda made by israel against the Palestinians.

  • what terrorist attacks are u talking about? the terrorists here are those isrealy soilders.even if these terrorist attacks stop the isrealys will still be in palestine because they think its their land and it isnt!

  • You don't think Israelis hate Palestinians? Yes, they do. Because they're living on their land and they don't want the threat of it being taken back. Oh yeah, and you're wrong that the world would be in favor of Palestine if there were no terrorism. You forget that the US is in the Security Council.
