In todays life all drummers seek speed and in my opinion is not bad but where is the creativity. Matt Greiner of August Burns Red, Thrill Seeker album is a good example of a creative metal drummer, you should check him out

puta velocidad D:

after actually watching this all the way through, i notice that the only skill this guy truly has is speed. which takes YEARS of practice, i'll give him that. but there are no variations to his choice of fills and/or rhythms. it's all the same, or so it seems

He needs to get a haircut, though.

FAST AND FURIOS

People should also consider how old this is not, this look like his drum set-up during the "King of all kings" recording and touring so it could be as old as 2002, or 2004 at the latest, he's gotten faster and smoother since this was shot.

derek roddey has an axis longboard pedal...
he is also a vey famous drummer... and do you really think he can't play professional jazz patterns? then it wouldn't be said that he's so good...
-
just because you're fast doesnt mean you sound good. (:
good jobb though.

what kind of double bass do u have?
kudo's he is fast, however he sounds like he is in a rush to go nowhere...
not much continuity or style...needs to spice it up with different methods. AE fusion, jazz, rock, metl, death metal... make a combination of it all to show all the talent not just run the train at 200 miles an hour.

Yeah i agree with you there but it takes alot of arm musul for some people to do this but its harder to make mistakes when your playing fast
