Hey Cornster, sorry I've only just seen your reply to my msg. Thanks, I am totally hooked on it and practising a lot, every day when possible, and I think it's going well so far. Thanks for the motivation, I kinda feel at times that it's seen as a 'guys thing' but to me music is universal and for everyone!

@MsAngel1508 just go for it, dont get bogged down in whether its a guy thing, cos your right, it isn't!! if you can play you can play, thats all there is to it. an instrument isn't baised towards who is playing it, so we should not be baised to what we play, practice, get up to speed, get your confidence up, and when your ready, post summat up and show the boys how its done!!! catch you another time.

Thanks for your reply Cornster - just started learning myself and had 5 lessons but going well.

No kit yet but hoping to get a Yamaha e-kit in the next few weeks. Hopefully once I've progressed I'll be brave enough to upload a couple of vids, even to get some feedback and to see my own progression.

Get some strange looks from people being a female and learning to play the drums but doesn't bother me, I quite enjoy seeing the look on peoples faces! Lol.

@MsAngel1508 you go girl!! practice alot, and you'll be amazed at the progress you'll make, and trust me, there are alot of great female drummers, who are respected in the professional music industry.

@MsAngel1508 on and off for quite a while, but i was without a kit for nearly 12yrs, i only got back into it about 3yrs ago. this one was an early one, i'm happy to say i can now play it quite a bit better these days. i also have better cymbals, and the kit is now in tune which also helps lol!!
