The video is filmed off a TV screen - but I thought it would be better to show him in this quality instead of not at all. Arbalet [Amelit- Abrai] , Gelishikli line, was bred and owned by Dr. Tito Pontecorvo. You might have seen Arbalet's video that showed his very first jumping competition where he was ridden with a bit-less bridle.
During the months of training, Pavel Sergeev, the trainer and member of the Equestrian Olympic team in Russia, recognized that a bridle with a bit was better than the Hackamore that he used in the beginning.
It's pretty nomal to jump in a hackamore but he wouldn't have been allowed to do the dressage in it anyway. He has a rather odd four-beat canter! It's a nice test for an eventer - very fluid and easy-going. Rein-back is a bit harsh - these Russian Olympic riders aren't known fo their soft hands, are they? Best of luck. Promising horse.
