I loved the books (except 4 when crepsley died that PISSED me off) i loved the movie 2, john as crepsley so funny its great, just didn't like that they made so much changes. but it still didn't deserve all those bad reviews. it was still a great movie.
i haven't read the books, but for all those out there who have, remember that the books are ALWAYS better than the movie, and there's always going to be differences. Someone on here put it well: just remember it ISNT the book. Anyway that said I thought it was a fantastic movie, and I don't know why the kid who played darren is getting such a bad rap, I thought he did a great job...played darren unassuming and normal jus tlike i assume he's supposed to be...
I am so glad there are loads of positive comments on youtube! I really loved this film, although it's different from the books. The reviews about it were really bad but I think it deserves a lot better!! I love John Reilly (; Him as Larten is hilarious.
While I admit the movie and the book have considerably different plots, I really love how the movie gives Mr. Crepsley a better sense of humor! :P My favorite part from this scene: "Did I not tell you to hold your breath?... Oh. Sorry." His sarcasm is so funny!
