Usain Bolt set 3 world records at the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics. On August 16th 2008, he claimed the title of "World's Fastest Man" and set the world record in the men's 100 meter dash at a blistering pace of 9.69 seconds. This beat his own previous world record of 9.72 seconds that he set just a few months earlier in the year.

On August 20, 2008 set the world record in the 200 meter dash with a time of 19.30 seconds. This beat the previous world record that had been set by Michael Johnson at the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympics of 19.32 seconds. Many believed that Michael Johnson's record would never be beaten. For this reason, Usain Bolt's world record in the 200 meter dash is arguably his greatest record of the three he set.

Finally, on August 22, 2008 Team Jamaica set the world record in the men's 4x100 meter relay with a time of 37.10. Team Jamaica members were Nesta Carter, Michael Frater, Usain Bolt, and Asafa Powell.

Usain Bolt clearly has made his mark on history with these 3 world records. And at the age of only 22 years old, he may just be getting started.
