  • @IDLERACER Perhaps equally interesting is that the same Bruce Botnick engineered Andy's 2006 album, "I Don't Remember Ever Growing Up."

  • I'm glad I finally got to hear the original recording of this. I'm familiar with the tune via the version on Gary Lewis & The Playboy's "Listen" album, which was also arranged by Nick De Caro. Interesting that Bruce Botnick was twirling the knobs on this. It would've been right around the same time he was working on Love's "Forever Changes" and the Door's "Strange Days."

  • What a cool gem! There are a lot of elements here reminiscent of an offbeat Beach Boys record from the late '60s.

  • This was also recorded by Lesley Gore.

  • both albums "love is blue" and "claudine" were very well produced (nick de caro) and her voice was so pleasing to listen to i remember playing her music many times during my stint in the army in armed forces radio while serving in japan. thank you for bringing back the memories.

  • Hey, isn't that ANDY on the chorus harmony and generally ghosting her?!?

  • i never heard this song. i like it. thanks.
