Dan was better known for his ballads but as you can see from this video he was quite a guitar player. If you need more proof check out Dan playing Elenor Rigby on my YouTube page.

  • The most complete musician that ever lived.

The record business pushed his ballads more because of his ggod looks and incredible voice.

Thanks Dan for your 'Living Legacy'

and for making life much more bearable.

  • He was always a monster with a full band. So excellent. Anyone remember the Rockline interview where they asked him something about rock or metal and he said something like... It's glandular, as long as there's hormones, there will be rock, you just feel it.... Never truer words. Just feel it. Thanks for the upgraded copy!

  • Saw Dan do this on the 30th anniv. tour. Only time I ever saw him play it live. Always one of my favorites. Unusual to see Dan with a Les Paul; ususally a Strat guy.

  • Even though I lived in Ireland at the time, and Dan Fogelberg was virtually unheard of, I always managed to find copies of his albums at some speciality record store, in Dublin or Cork. In 1982 a friend went to the States and brought home T I A for me, completing my collection. When I moved to Holland I didn´t find any more albums. However, I listened to him all the time and a novel I wrote, (as yet unpublished) was based on the lyrics of Lost in the Sun.

  • Dan at his best!! Why is it I just cant get enough of his music--ever!! Ive been a huge fan for over 30 years and his music still awes me!!

  • A very unappreciated guitarist! He was never given the recognition he deserved! Thanks for this. I really miss this man! God bless you, Dan!

  • I have always wished he made one rock album, with the exception of one ballad on it. It was unfortunate that his hit tunes that were on the radio had a softer edge to them, which pigeon holed him as a soft rocker. There is no soft rocking here,he plays the hell out of that guitar. This is the D.F. that I can't get enough of. One of my favorites from TIA. My other favorites from TIA is Stolen Moments and Lost in the Sun. Love the rock tunes.

  • Thanks! This my all time favorite DF video. It just looks like he is having the greatest time! Thanks for the 'clean' copy! Love to see Dan rockin'!
