In part three of this difficult game from the June 2009 LSAT, Blueprint LSAT Prep co-founder Matt Riley finishes his instruction on the mauve dinosaur game. In this segment, Matt covers the answer choices. This is the big pay-off for all the work done by reading the rules, symbolizing them correctly, and coming up with the correct setup.
The Blueprint method to tackle LSAT logic games is to do nearly all of the work before going to the answer choices. Many students have the tendency to want to dive directly into the questions, as that is where the points are, right? Wrong. Most of your points for an LSAT logic game will be won or lost before you even answer the first question. While most of the time you can correcty answer the first question on a logic game from the rules alone, the rest require deducing additional information from the rules given.
This idea is true for the other sections on the LSAT, as well. Blueprint LSAT Prep teaches its students the steps to anticipate the correct answer choice to logical reasoning questions, as well as how to anticipate the kinds of questions likely to be asked in logical reasoning.

Thanks for this. I'm not as good at diagramming as you are, but fortunately I am good at juggling information in my head. I sketched out the rules, but didn't diagram the possibilities. I managed to get all the dinosaur questions right. I had encountered this question type in the 40+ practice tests I took before the June LSAT, but I think most test takers don't overdo it to the extent that I did, and as a result, they didn't learn how to diagram for this type.
Hi KweeFees. Do you have any advice for someone serious about going to law school? Can you tell me how/where/how long you studied? Did you take a prep test? Thanks a lot! I appreciate it.
