This video shows what is left of the of the oil tanker Apollonian Wave and the freighter Virgo on the beach of Lespecier in the southwest of France. Both these ships ran aground on the same day and almost the same location, on December 2, 1976 (see pictures @ Panoramio). Even a third ship was beached here, the Ruben, but this one could be pulled off the beach by tugs. To get rid of the wrecks, both were blown up with explosives.
