funny, i listened to this bc i was listening the happiness when i was walking home from this show... I didnt like the cover at first til I started loving their cover of the chorus

I think we all appreciate this because Phish is for real and pure feeling and talent. they are covering a masterpiece written by George Harrison and performed by the Beatles with Clapton. That was an amazing combination of feeling and talent as well. it's just a rocker's salute to the predecessors. keep jammin. gotta love this (Beatles/Clapton and Phish forever!)

@letsgettribal your small brain makes my big brain hurt.

Makes my guts feel funny. Nasty, nasty stuff. See ya in Alpharetta.

while my guitar was great, happiness was god awful (you cant phishify that song sorry)
-
not a bad cover..but its not really strong. imo it needs a bit more power..

The Beatles were spectacular, so are Phish. It's one great band's tribute to another. Let's bask in the awesomeness. Anastasio, Clapton and Harrison (if he were still with us) would jam together instead of arguing over who was better, right?

the emotion pouring out of Trey and the amazing sounds emanating from his guitar is what is amazing about this performance. it should not be compared or dissected, just appreciated. i have not seen too many performances that blow my mind every time i see them, but this is my favorite example of how amazing Trey and Phish are. i have my mac hooked up to my PA in my livingroom, and i have to turn it up , close my eyes and zone out to Phish.
