had many phones but the 5700 had the best sound on speakers, superb sound. it's the only phone that sounds good on external speakers,very very clear sounds.

This comparison is childish to be mild.
The quality of the speakers has nothing to do with the DAC and the DSP, nor with the amplifier inside.
The 5700 external speakers are better, but don't be fooled.
DSP, DAC and amplifiers (separate for speakers and phones) are far superior in N81 and N91.
5700 audio hardware is the same of 6290.
The human way to ear the difference is with phones, and then you go and tell me.
The technical way is to analyze audio spectrum with software like RMAA...

Ok, I admit you're right.... but when I have to listen to a song, do I use my ear or should I search out for RMAA?...I'm talking about actual sound in real life, not of something analysed by a program....I have both phones, and to me, in speakers 5700 is clearly better, though in headset N81 is better....there's no more technical thing to discuss about that....

bro @lacp69 is correct, he agrees to your point that 5700's speakers are better than n81, but when it comes to headphones (which people actually use to listen to music) n81's wayyyy better than 5700

I've checked both phones thoroughly with each equaliser and even third-party apps like Jukebox, but its really true that 5700 is better ^_^....
